SUSTAIN is centered around effective innovative education. Firstly we will analyze the available information on the topics of air pollution and biodiversity loss in order to produce accurate and specific educational materials.
Between 2018 and 2022, the University of Oldenburg coordinated a consortium consisting of two universities (besides Oldenburg, the University of Linköping ,SE), 6 companies (including the Oldenburg companies EWE Aktiengesellschaft, BÜFA GmbH & Co. KG and CEWE Stiftung und Co KG), the research institute Borderstep and the consulting company Vennebroek Academic Services (NL).
The implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals can only be reached globally. Universities educate the “change agents for tomorrow” and are thus required to enable students to acquire the necessary competencies.
