Training Compass Chemistry: Designing Sustainable Transitions

The “Training Compass Chemistry: Designing Sustainable Transitions” is a project of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Göttingen that aims to open up the university and increase permeability between university and vocational training. It offers students who are considering dropping out of university the opportunity to transition smoothly and without loss of time to vocational training, and encourages trainees to pursue further studies in order to exploit the full potential of all possible workers. With the help of a network of companies, vocational schools, counseling centers and the university, an easy-access online service was created that offers reliable, non-judgmental information, secure referral counseling and target-group-specific counseling services.
