The Research Service supports scientists in the selection of suitable project funding, offers assistance in the application process and in the management of research projects. It also provides advice on applying for doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships, conference funding opportunities, research-related travel grants, and fellowships abroad.

Regularly workshops on “How to write a research proposal” are being offered. Information is provided in two modules about funding opportunities as well as application and evaluation practice. Research contexts such as research data management or open access are part of these workshops and are offered by internal cooperation partners (university library) in additional events for specific target groups.

The Transfer- and Innovation Management offers support for application-oriented researchers working on project proposals as well as advice on the European Structural and Investment Funds.
