EduAId: Transforming education with AI micro-qualifications for educators and teachers

EduAId (Transforming Education with AI Micro-credentials for Educators, Teachers, and School Heads) aims to foster change in the educational landscape by integrating AI-related tools and practices through a micro-credentials approach, targeting teachers, school heads, and educators. The project seeks to enhance digital literacy, foster personalized learning environments, and promote continuous professional development. EduAid intends to equip educators with the tools and knowledge necessary to leverage AI technologies, ultimately improving teaching quality and student outcomes in Europe.
The University of Oldenburg acts as the lead coordinator in this project.
The project mobilizes a consortium of 12 official project partners from all over Europe, including representatives from Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Serbia, and Germany. The collaboration between these partners – including universities, research centres, teachers and school heads, and non-profit organizations with expertise in data science, AI, education, and policymaking – will be organized through a series of work packages (WPs). EduAId conducts desk research, focus group interviews, and needs assessments to ensure an ethically grounded, evidence-based approach. The project will deploy a series of interconnected activities, including the development of an AI-powered app and a digital platform for personalized learning, and the establishment of a framework for recognizing and validating micro-credentials. Collaboration with educational institutions and partners will ensure the relevance of the training materials. Finally, the project will conduct pilot programs to refine these tools and methodologies, supported by workshops and training sessions.
EduAid aims to deliver a transformative impact on the educational sector by enabling educators to effectively integrate AI tools into their teaching practices. Key outcomes include the widespread adoption of AI-driven personalized learning solutions, the establishment of a recognized system for micro-credentials, and enhanced digital competencies. These results will elevate the quality of education and ensure that European systems remain competitive in the face of rapid technological changes.

Etwa 15 Millionen Menschen in Deutschland leiden an Hörstörungen.
